feel that you’re not ready to go straight to college, training or
into a job? Maybe you missed some time at school or have few or no
qualifications …
well there are
plenty of opportunities for you to develop your skills, gain some
experiences and move on with your life.
Ask your
Personal Adviser about these options:

Programme
Led Apprenticeships (PLAs)
If you think you
might want to do an Apprenticeship but you’re not quite ready
to start a full programme you could do a Programme Led Pathway
(PLP). Ask your
Personal Adviser for more
information.
Other
programmes and awards
There are many
organisations who run courses, programmes and awards which can help
you develop confidence, experience and help boost your
motivation! Some of the programmes aren't easy (I'm talking
about some of the outdoor activities!) but imagine how you'll feel
once you've achieved something really difficult! Plus, some
give an award at the end which may impress an
employer.
