Staying on at Sixth Form or College

Rounded corner
Higher qualifications mean you have a better chance of getting a job and usually, you’ll earn more money.  You could stay on at school or decide to go to an FE or sixth-form college.

Staying on at school means that you’d know lots of people and the teachers.  But maybe you want to get away from that and try something new… colleges are bigger and may offer a better range of courses.  They have a mix of young people and adults and are often quite different from a school environment.

Before you decide, it’s a good idea to think about the qualification you want to do and at what level. Where you end up studying could depend on your choice.
