Lone Dancer
Catching up on the latest blockbuster (chick flick or action-packed) is a great way to spend an evening or afternoon with your mates. You can find cinema listings in your local paper on local websites like ThisIsNottingham or by phoning the cinema (get the number from Yell.co.uk)

Don't be put off going to the theatre because you think it's going to be all posh frocks or speeches that are way over your head - not so.  There are loads of funny or moving plays about all sorts of subjects that everyone will enjoy (you may even spot a few faces you recognise from The Bill!).  Or maybe a musical or a bit of stand-up comedy is more your bag.  There are some really good deals to be had on theatre seats - sometimes they're even cheaper than the cinema!  Find out what's on by picking up a programme from your local library or information office or look up your nearest theatres on the Internet.
