Opportunity for budding young film makers

Rounded corner
Are you interested in film making?  Do you have an interesting story to tell?

From now until March 2009, Charge, which is a multi-platform zone on the Community Channel, will be funding a number of young people to make their own films.

The Charge team is currently touring the country and offering free workshops to help young people produce their own films and have their voices heard.

They are planning a workshop in Nottinghamshire on Wednesday 19th November 2008 from  3.30pm - 8.30pm. Venue to be confirmed.

Charge will offer funding and training for 10 young people in each area. Anyone interested should be aged 16 - 25 and have an interesting story to tell. The training will consist of a one day all expenses paid workshop guiding them through the process of making their own short film.

You may be able to win:  £400 funding to make your own film and have it shown on Charge TV

If you’re interested in the opportunity, please email priscillab@mediatrust.org with your name, age, contact telephone number, hometown and a short paragraph describing the documentary you would like to make about an issue that is important to you.
