Alcohol
The law states you have to be 18 to buy and drink alcohol on licensed premises such as bars, clubs and off licences. The law is there for a reason - drinking alcohol can harm your health, cause accidents to yourself or others and make you vulnerable to crime.
The recommended maximum levels of alcohol units a week are:
- 14 units for women
- 21 units for men
