Free Condoms at Nottingham and Ashfield Connexions Centre
The C-Card Scheme is a confidential service for young people and provides easy access to free condoms and sexual health information.
To register for free condoms you firstly need to register for the C-card scheme. You can do this at Ashfield Connexions centre. The nearest registration point to Nottingham Connexions Centre is The Health Shop, 12 Broad Street, Nottingham, telephone 0115 9475414. At the registration meeting you have a one-to-one session with an appropriately trained member of staff. This includes verbal and written information on STI’s, emergency contraception and local Contraception and Sexual Health Services (CASH) and a condom demonstration.
Your details are taken, including date of birth, gender, ethnicity and home postcode and you are then given a unique ID number which is written, on the back of your ‘C-card’.
You can then call into the Connexions centre with your C-card to get supplies of free condoms.
