Gedling District Youth Assembly

The Gedling District Youth Assembly, a group of young people who aim to increase youth provision in the Gedling Borough, have recently been working to integrate their recycling campaign into the Council’s agenda. The campaign involves increasing recycling facilities within schools in the Borough in the hope of improving recycling standards and helping waste management. Because of their hard work and effort the GDYA have won the regional Seen and Heard award that recognises their effort to work within the community to achieve something for the benefit of everyone. Out of many organisations competing for the award the GDYA have emerged victorious and should be congratulated for their outstanding work.
