Right to Time off for study

If you’re 16 or 17 and working, you still have the right to paid time off for study or training.
You’re eligible if:
- You leave school with qualifications below the level of NVQ2 (equivalent to five GCSEs at grade C or above);and
- You want to study for a qualification at NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
You could study or train:
- at work
- on the job
- at college
- with a recognised training provider
- through open or distance learning
